Birmingham is a city on the move – moving forward. In addition to commemorating the 50th anniversary of some of the most important events in the Civil Rights Movement with its 50 Years Forward campaign, Birmingham has been recognized for its evolution into a city center for arts, food, and culture just this year by the likes of National Geographic, Zagat, USA Today, and Forbes.

WBHM is proud to be able contribute news and programming that enhances Birmingham’s developing community dynamic, and it is because of your financial support that we are able to do so.

WBHM’s Spring 2013 Fund Drive will kick off on April 17, and we are looking forward to being joined in the studio by some of Birmingham’s community leaders including Dr. Ray Watts, UAB’s new president, who will be accompanied by Dr. Shirley Salloway Kahn, UAB vice president of Development, Alumni, and External Relations. We also have an exciting new thank-you gift for contributors, but more about that below.

2012 brought more support to WBHM than ever before, a trend of sustainable success that we must maintain to continue to serve you throughout 2013 and beyond. Your generous investment, ongoing feedback and loyal partnership will help WBHM continue moving forward, right along with Birmingham. Your support is crucial to the present and future of award-winning local, regional, and national news and the highest quality programming available for North Central Alabama.

Thank you.
