Mose Stovall

Mose Stovall was born in Birmingham, Alabama. He was introduced to music at a very early age; his first encounter with music began in elementary school, where he found his first love for music through playing the trumpet. He recognized his singing ability when he began singing in church at the age of 12. While in high school, his voice was nurtured and his musical skills were greatly enhanced. He has sung for the Birmingham Civic Opera, Birmingham All City Choir and the State of Alabama Choral Ensemble. Over the years, Mose has traveled the southeast singing with various groups.

Mose music reflects his feeling about life -- to make people look at their lives and stop the negatives, and put it in a positive direction. He sings the Best of the 70's, 80's, 90's Dance Music, Motown Music, Old School Funk, R & B, Blues, Neo Soul, Jazz and Popular Standards

Stovall began working as an artist at Magic City Hitsville Record, which he helped co-found Music Makers Recording Studio. There, he utilized his skills in songwriting and background singing for many of Birmingham's aspiring artists. In August 2003, Mose released his soulful R&B solo CD entitled, "Private Party", with such hits as "Hold You", "The Problem Is You", "Good Lovin", "Dance", and "Can't Stand". But, he loves to sing all the cover tunes from various artirts such as Luther Vandross, Anthony Hamilton and Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly. In December 2005, he was the opening act for The Blues Legend Willie Clayton. Currently, Mose can be seen on BEATS TV on ABC 33/40, Thursday Nights at 12:05 a.m., and he is the lead singer for The Force Five Band and Show. Also, he hosts a TV Show entitled: BEATS and a New Party/Show entitled: BEATS Flashback Friday Night "It's Nothing But An Olde School Party" every last Friday of each month at Wellington's Bistro.
