Originally from Hoover, Alabama, Michael Warren blends R&B, rock, pop and funk, creating his own distinct sound.
This year, he just finished recording a PBS/CPT TV special, won the 2007 BAMA Award for best singer/songwriter and is about to release his second full length CD.
Warren has has performed major music festivals in Alabama, including Birmingham City Stages, Montgomery's Jubilee Cityfest, Huntsville Big Spring Jam, Mobile Bayfest, and Orlando Florida's Red White & Boom. He has opened for Robert Cray, B.B.King, Live, Gladys Knight, Will Hoge, Marc Broussard, Foghat, Howie Day, Master P.,Ryan Caberra, Taylor Hicks, Dave Barnes and Michael Tolcher.
In 2005, Warren was honored with aan invitation to perform in a nationally televised UNCF fundraising concert. In 2006, he went overseas to Germany on a USO tour to play for our front line troops on leave from Iraq.
