Membership Support

Individual membership support is WBHM's primary source of operating funds, making it possible for your public radio station to be “Your NPR News Station” -- North Central Alabama’s home to an award-winning regional news team and national programs such as Morning Edition, Car Talk, Fresh Air, All Things Considered and Marketplace, both on the air at 90.3 FM and online at www.wbhm.org.

As a listener-supported service of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, our primary source of operating funds is community support. Any contribution you make is invaluable, and if you become a member of our Broadcasters Society at the level of $1,000 or more a year, you gain access to even more membership benefits.

Your gift to WBHM Public Radio supports programming that makes a difference in people’s lives – and a service that is an integral part of our community’s cultural fabric. Support WBHM with your pledge and help keep your public radio station strong!

Broadcasters Society

The Broadcasters Society was established in 2002 to recognize WBHM's most generous supporters, those who donate $1,000 or more a year. That's just $83.34 per month.

More than 50 Broadcasters Society members play a vital role in keeping the vision of quality programming alive at WBHM. Broadcaster Society members enjoy some special benefits, including updates from General Manager Scott Hanley, the opportunity to purchase tickets in advance to special events and performances, and invitations to WBHM Broadcasters Society gatherings.

As a member of the Broadcasters Society, you are a part of a special group that is helping to ensure the future of public service radio for all of North Central Alabama.

Become a member of the Broadcasters Society by making your pledge online or by calling 1-800-444-9246. You can tailor your gift to your schedule - pay all at one time, or stretch your gift out over a year. Whatever is most convenient for you. Join these very special supporters of WBHM today.
