Weownthesky has quite the atmospheric bravado. But don't let it fool you. These chaps want to make music that embodies a multi-dimensional sound, complete with musicians who can walk (or play) and chew gum at the same time.

Wiseblood (Vol. 1) is a new EP from multi-instrumentalist Shawn Avery and songwriter Ashby Pate. It features appearances by members of "The Bridges," "Clint Wells" and "The Ashes." Collected and recorded over the course of three years, the EP is a cooperative endeavor that showcases literary-musical experiments. Intimate acoustic arrangements, stacked harmonies, and clever, poetic lyrics define this Southern music collective's first project.
