The Reginald Jones Band is a contemporary jazz group based in Birmingham and started in
November 2005 by established jazz guitarist Reginald Jones. The sound is a polished blend described as a cross between the smooth West Coast grooves of
Carlos Santana, the slick harmonies and rhythms of Fourplay, and New
York style jumpin' Funk.
Although "Experiences" is the first project by this particular assemblage
of musicians, this is Mr. Jones' sophomore CD. His first enjoyed
positive press from smooth jazz listeners from across the U.S.
Surprisingly, "Experiences" has garnered The Reginald Jones Band responses
from around and outside the U.S., even before it was released.
