A former member of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra's education division and Alabama School of Fine Arts, Lee Richards began playing the violin at age three after his mother found him mimicking a fiddle player on television. He now plays a variety of stringed instruments, keyboards, and mellotron. A past resident of Hawaii, Richards plans to return home to the islands after 15 years on the mainland. His debut CD, Another Day in Paradise features light, flowing original songs that were written with the islands, palm trees and surf for inspiration. Richards composed and performed all the instruments on Another Day in Paradise.
