The 2004 Presidential and Vice-Presidential Debates

90.3 WBHM will offer special coverage of the 2004 Presidential and Vice Presidential Debates. The Commission on Presidential Debates (located on the Web at http://www.debates.org/) has scheduled three debates for the presidential candidates and one debate for the vice presidential candidates.

The dates and locations for each of the debates are as follows:

First Presidential Debate Thursday, September 30, 2004 University of Miami Coral Gables, FL

Vice Presidential Debate Tuesday, October 5, 2004 Case Western Reserve University Cleveland, OH

Second Presidential Debate Friday, October 8, 2004 Washington University St. Louis, MO

Third Presidential Debate Wednesday, October 13, 2004 Arizona State University Tempe, AZ

Each debate will begin at 9:00 p.m. EDT/6:00 p.m. PDT and last for 90 minutes.

Senior National Correspondent Linda Wertheimer will host live coverage of the debates from Washington. NPR Correspondents Mara Liasson, Don Gonyea, and Scott Horsley will attend each debate and participate in the special coverage. Washington Editor Ron Elving will also take part in the broadcast.
