As WBHM's, Membership Manager, Will Dahlberg handles the day-to-day interaction with members and cultivates Birmingham’s ever-growing public radio community.
Born in upstate New York, Will spent most of his life growing up in Newbury, VT. He first fell in love with public radio at a young age while working at a small piano and organ restoration business. After trying his hand at many other jobs during and after his academic pursuits, he feels right at home in public radio. Will first came to WBHM as an intern in 2012 while he was completing the writing for his graduate thesis for Dartmouth College, from which he graduated in 2013. He is also a proud alum of Hiram College, where he received his undergraduate degree and currently serves as a member of the Alumni Executive Board.
Outside of WBHM, Will continues to pursue some freelance reporting opportunities as a member of The Association of Independents in Radio (AIR) and was awarded a grant by Transom.org in 2012 to complete a radio documentary feature. Outside of his radio exploits, Will is a baseball fanatic, and a proud member of the Society for American Baseball Research, where he serves on the Baseball and the Media Research Committee.
Will lives in Homewood with his fiancé Katherine, her daughter, Marley, two dogs and a side-car motorcycle he can’t seem to get around to fixing.
Will can be reached at 205-934-2264 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
