Patrick Dorriety

Patrick Dorriety works as our Operations Manager. Which means he works with the technical systems and computers. He also spends a good bit of time here at WBHM.ORG where he sweeps the floors and polishes the monitors.

Patrick is a native of Birmingham, where he learned to love BarBQ and sweet iced tea. His latest fascination is with the birds that visit the bird feeder at his home. Several families of Cardinals, Woodpeckers, Finches, and Chickadees go through several pounds of birdseed every week.

He's been a broadcaster since the age of 16, when he answered telephone requests for the all nite rock n roll request show. He left the world of commercial radio sixteen years ago when he joined the WBHM staff as a News Announcer. A few years later he was called upon to manage the operations of the station just as radio was adopting the power of semiconductors and computer chips in its newer technologies.
