Ernest Williams

Ernest Williams Jr. is WBHM's Financial and Business Manager. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a degree in Accounting. He has been in the Accounting field with UAB for some time now. After working as an Accountant in the Banking industry he decided to join UAB. Ernest is a native of Birmingham and a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.

He started his college experience at Alabama State University with an interest in Computer Science. He later returned home and enrolled in UAB. The business courses at UAB seemed to spark such an interest in him that he decided to change his major to Accounting. He was quite active in the UAB's undergraduate chapter of NABA. Ernest met his wife Alicia, a fellow UAB graduate, while in college. They produced two wonderful children together, a son Darrell (DD) and a daughter Ashley, one of Alabama's Angels.

He has a passion for cars and music. Those who know him well will never forget his 71 chevy and his strange collection of 80's music. You can always find him trying to build or repair something that usually isn't broken. He is another Tim Taylor in the making. He loves to drive and is always up for a weekend trip. He is also a makeshift master chef of the Bar-B-Que grill. He graduated from Fairfield High School and is one of those devoted fighting Tigers. An intense accountant that usually has numbers and formulas floating around in his head as he sleeps.
